Mandatory Training

If you wish to work through Phoenix Healthcare and Recruitment we will require you to be up to date with all the mandatory training. You can simply show us your current training certificates in the following courses or sign up for our basic mandatory training. This forms part of your initial and ongoing membership with us.

 

Specialist Training for Homecarers:

  • Dementia Awareness

  • Peg Tube Feeding

  • Ventilator Training

  • Bespoke training – Phoenix welcomes your suggestions for any bespoke training

 

 

We have a comprehensive training scheme accessible to you, to get you working as quickly as possible. Our training courses include:

  • First Aid (Includes CPR)
  • Moving and Handling
  • Health and Safety – includes RIDDOR and  COSHH
  • Fire Safety
  • Administration of Medication (only required if working in a Domiciliary/Homecare environment)
  • POVA Protection of Vulnerable Adult
  • POCA Protection of Child Abuse (only required if working with Children)
  • Food Hygiene
  • Infection Control – MRSA policy
  • Deprivation of Liberty Safeguarding (DoLs)
  • Challenging Behaviour
  • Dementia Awareness
